Client: Bavarian State Chancellery
Completion: September 4, 2020
Size: approx. 400 m²
In autumn 2019, the State Chancellery in Munich commissioned us to prepare a feasibility study on the greening of the orangery in the State Chancellery. The implementation was carried out in September 2020 by the company Botanic International. The tall white columns in the orangery set the rhythm of the planting. On the side of the house, planters with chestnut vine (Tetrastigma) were placed between the columns, which climbs upwards. Opposite, also based on the grid of the columns, there are various citrus trees in simple white containers. Visitors are greeted by the scent of the flowers and fruits all year round. A solitary planter with seating was installed in the entrance area of the light-flooded foyer. An 8 m tall black olive tree (Bucida buceras) rises here.
