From the elevated town square, spacious lawns open up to the Riem Landscape Park. To the west, a fast footpath and cycle path leads through a light birch grove planted with numerous spring flowers. The eastern edge of the park is loosely covered with pine and cherry trees. To the south of the promenade, gravel blocks and strips of grass form an artificial and artistically designed ground relief - they thus take up the formal language of the landscape park.
