Curriculum vitae | Christoph Valentien

 

Christoph Valentien studied landscape architecture at the University of Munich-Weihenstephan and urban planning at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Being Professor at the Chair of Landscape Architecture and Design at the Technical University of Munich until his retirement in 2005, he remains active on various committees and also holds a concurrent professorship at the Nanjing Forestry University in China. He has given a variety of lectures at national and international conferences and has diverse publications in journals like Topos, Paiseados, Landscape Architecture Journal, World Landscape Architects, and many more. Christoph Valentien is a member of the Bavarian Architectural Association, of the German Academy for Urban and Regional Spatial Planning (DASL) since 1986, of the „Zentralinstitut für Raumordnung und Umweltforschung“ at the Technical University of Munich since 1986, and of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in Munich since 2000.
